Tube bending and fabrications
- Tube bending, weldments and full tube fabrication up to 7 inch diameter used in aircraft, military and commercial applications. Woolf Aircraft Products mandrel bends and fabricates tube assemblies in all alloys including, stainless, aluminum, inconel, titanium and steel. Our specialty is in thin wall, tight radius, close tangent tube bending in all alloys including, stainless, aluminum, inconel, titanium and steel. Mandrel tube bending supports the inside tube diameter producing smooth wrinkle free bends. We have 32 power tube benders including CNC benders up to 7” diameter. Many of our benders include boost bending on the Y axis and are capable of multiple bend radius as well as large radius roll bending.
Woolf Aircraft offers robotic 6-axis MIG welding, along with TIG and Plasma welding. We also silver braze and use secondary sources for nickel and copper brazing. Certified Heli-arc welding is to AWS D17.1 (was Mil-STD-1595). We also are approved for Boiler Pressure Vessel Section 9. We have the ability to weld in the thickness range of .012 to .250 inch.
Tube forming and expanding is preformed using both upset and rotary style machines. We also flange, swedge, single flare, double flare, and bead tube assemblies. We will produce small one piece prototype tubes or production thought 50,000 pieces. We also stock pre-bent tube elbows available for the same day shipment.
