The Difference between Medical Management and Crisis Management
- Tempico Medical Processing Co., Inc. was formed in 1990 to commercialize patented technology utilizing pressure and steam within a rotating autoclave registered as the Rotoclave®. The technology has been used in the medical waste processing field for many years. Currently a much larger Rotoclave® is being manufactured to process municipal waste to allow for approximately 80% recovery of the various components in household waste. The first such plant will be located in Newcastle, UK.
Tempico is responsible for the manufacture, sale and service of the Rotoclave® medical processing systems to medical waste generators such as hospitals, laboratories, etc. The Rotoclave® technology is well suited for, and is being used by, regional medical waste processing plants both domestically and internationally.
The Rotoclave® technology offers the opportunity for volume reduction of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) to landfills. This unique application for Rotoclave® technology reduces volume by approximately 80% without the need of grinding. This application will become increasingly more important as landfills become full. New landfills are not a preferred solution for this problem.
